| About Our Church |
KAFCI turned five years old in 2010, so we are still a church that you can come and grow with. We began on January 23, 2005 at Ambler Elementary School, here in the great city of Carson. We currently hold services at the Carson Double Tree Hotel, 2 Civic Plaza, Carson, CA 90745 (for directions, please go to our Service Times and Directions page). If you are anywhere within driving distance (or if you are an out-of-towner who is visiting the Los Angeles area), the KAFCI family would love for you to be our very special guest at our church...a church for people like you! We started small and slow, but we are now moving forward with rapid speed to reach, serve and love the people of Southern California! Because of the times that we live in, God has raised us up and placed us on the fast track due to the fact that so many people need to hear and receive the message of love, power, faith and victory that God has sent us to share!
We here at KAFCI recognize that we serve an awesome God who desires to meet your every need. We offer opportunities for everyone, so join us and become a part of our great big family in Christ.
Kingdom Advancers Family Church International is a new breed of Word of Faith believers who are discovering the power and victory in living the Christian life! At KAFCI we believe that church (and life for that matter) should be enjoyed and not just endured! Q: Where are you located?
A: Currently we hold our Weekend Services at the Carson Double Tree Hotel at 10:30 a.m. and our Bible Studies at 7:00 p.m. The Double Tree Hotel is located at 2 Civic Plaza, Carson, CA. If you would like directions, please go to our directions page.
Q: What should I wear to church?
A: You will see all manner of dress at any given service - from jeans to dresses and suits and ties. Come dressed in what is comfortable for you.
Q: Will I feel uncomfortable as a visitor?
A: No. We won't consider you as just a visitor. You will be our very special guest. All of our guests tell us that they immediately feel right at home the first time they worship with us and so will you.
Q: Will I know what to do when I get there?
A: There are greeters who will help direct you or answer any questions you might have.
Q: Will I be asked to give an offering?
A: Guests or members are never pressured to give in any offerings. Guests are encouraged to simply come and find out who we are. In fact, we have something that we want to give to you FREE OF CHARGE.
Q: Do I need to become a member?
A: No. All are welcome to worship with us at Kingdom International. However, we do offer scheduled membership classes for those who are interested in finding out more about opportunities to connect with us here at KAFCI. Every Christian does need a church home and a church family; otherwise they are spiritual orphans.
Q: Do you have special communion services?
A: Once every 4 weeks, communion is observed during a Sunday morning service.
Q: What is the praise and worship like?
A: IGNITE, our Praise Team and Band, ministers music that is upbeat and heartfelt in a contemporary gosepl style that will truly bless you! If you enjoy music you will be right at home.
